A former Soviet CGV Military district hospital. Basically a lung diseases (TB) sanatorium which operated from 1968 until 1990.
Our first visit to this site turned into a wander around the perimeter after we discovered a manned police station in the grounds, 'gardeners', joggers, dog walkers and some seriously professional window boarding and door barring. The following day after a few fails we decided to try again on our way back to our hotel.
Access was a seriously tight squeeze, brazen and covered in anti-climb paint but as you can see - we made it.
Sadly the vast majority of the building had been stripped of anything of interest but the laundry appeared to have been 'opened' recently and as such was rather cool.
As always in the company of wea5el.
