returned here this morning at 6,45 wanted to finish it completely and get a few better shots of the end staircase gaining access were we bailed out last time

once inside it was 3ft rcp all the way no features of note

a nice doomed shaped manhole went past about 5 manholes was on a trolley cart and it took about 20 mins to get as far as i could

the practical end , it had reduced to 600mm pipe for as far as i could see , i wasnt going any further lol going back downhill on the trolley cart i had a good turn of speed went past my entry point to try and get a few better pics of the staircase

had forgotten how slippery this 4ft plastic drain was

looking up the incline up to were we got out of the manhole this concludes our explore

More good persistence! That staircase looks a lot like the cascade in ‘unknown pleasures’ but maybe narrower?

By the way I recently found some paperwork suggesting that decepticon is officially known as ‘Ochre Dike Sewer’. Just a bonus fact for you there! ;-)
