Back with another big drain, this one is a verrrryyy long storm relief/CSO (you will see why I said CSO very soon) tunnel, not a culvert. This tunnel goes for more than 5 miles if i recall correctly, and all of it is concrete modern tunnel, however some large chambers are definitely the impressive bit. This outfalls into the River Rother, talk about environmentally friendly in times of flood... It carrys water from surface drainage, rain/flood water and the odd sewer water 
. Onto the explore. (i have to again apologies for shite photos)

I arrived at the outfall at around 12 ish, just having had my lunch (ham and cheese sarnies of course).
The outfall was surprisingly big, however I had 150 meters of 4ft slung over stood waiting for me...
Smelled rather odd aswell.
Woop.. Luckily construction changes quite fast.
The construction changes here, the box section is flipped on its side and is now like a corridor!
We then get greeted with a change in construction again and a nice running sewer! Smells great...
Arched concrete tunnel with the sewer running next to us in the raised sidewalk, huge in this section!
After quite abit of walking were greeted with a huuuge chamber, 2 level!
Looking up.
Climbing to the top and looking straight down, a nice birdseye view of the chamber!
Looking from the top I noticed what looks like a sump? Im not sure, but it was full to the brim.
Back down into the concrete pipe. Walking on and on...
We then get to this second chamber! Not as big as the last but still sizable, its quite loud here aswell as you will see the reason very soon. First, lets carry on abit further up the rcp.
Ermmm no thanks, not today.. walking on for abit there wasnt really that much to see so already being tired after a shite night sleep I decided to turn back and have a look what was making all that racket.
This was the source of the noise, the same sewer! This time dropping down.
Frothy sewage mmm! The smell was the strongest here, the photos may look deceptive that sewer was 3ft rcp, and dropped down quite abit!
After 1+ hour of rcp and concrete modern tunnel, I was fed up, time to get out!
Plenty of stalagmites.
Passing through the larger chamber again, snapped a photo on a ledge above the tunnel, that manhole lid hides the shit filled pipe.
On and on it goes.
Until finally, daylight.
A fantastic explore all together, I definitely enjoyed this one and wouldn't mind visiting again when I actually get a good night sleep! Thanks for looking everyone
