Apologies for the quality of the pictures, it was an impromptu visit and neither of us were dressed for the occasion, nor equiped with a tripod.
This is commonly and mistakenly named as “Wainford Maltings”, presumably because of a nearby roadsign. The real Wainford maltings is about a mile further down the road though. This one is Ditchingham maltings
There are still chickens living here who more often than not venture out to the road. Legend has it they were dumped during the bird flu scare and appear to be quite happy.
Demolition stopped in August 2009, something to do with the recession.
