This is my second report, Happy its Dodge hill.
I've been looking forward to this one for a while as it was my first underground explore.
Spent a good hour or so wondering round, Had a 10 minute sit down to reflect on the history etc...
Dodge hill was named after the family Dodge, the same ones who moved to America and made Dodge auto mobiles and also the namesake for Dodge city.
The shelter that is here is carved out of the red sandstone and is one of three in the Stockport area. These tunnels took upto two years to carve out starting in 1938/1939.
Next time ill have to join in the big hunt for Brinksway's secret spot!
Next report may be a high one.
Also these reports will climb in quality, Eventually
