Report - Drakes island - Plymouth 27/08/2019

Just a quick little explore, few jumps off the pier and a little explore around a few of the bunkers that were easily accessible facing south. Had a plus one who we had to look after ! Such a fun little trip. Need to go and stay there overnight, plus get some good footage on the Gopro’s!

Drakes is the jule of Plymouth spend many days on drakes also a wk bk in the 80s on an adventure wk totally loved it

Nice, we went a couple of years ago and spent the night there. Im guessing all the buildings are still sealed?

They are gonna develop the island and turn it into some upmarket residential shithole with obligatory "heritage centre".

They were saying that when we visited it in 2017 and nothing seems to have progressed

The guardian know dont know nothing then cause in 30 yrs urban exploitation has been visiting the island regularly in the past 5 yrs myself and other groups have been on their the place is fantastic every corner every tunnel tells its own story so take no notice of uninformed media they know sxxt idiots

I read it's under new ownership so things could indeed be changing if that's true.

Funny first pic, I've heard you have to have coast guard and police escort you too and from the island LOL.
