Nicely preserved tunnel, must be about a million bricks in that liner. It should stay open if bats are there as its illegal to destroy a bat nesting site.

Indeed I feel the quarry want to fill in to prevent trespassing on their property as probably does the land owner the other end although your quite right it should be left open for bats if nothing else... Thanks for your comments
