First go, gan easy!
After seeing the report from here on the 8/4 i decided this was a must see, so after an early louse headed off this afternoon. However on my return i find dirt monkey was there yesterday. Never mind, just bin it if it's shite!
It's a strange place. The natural soundtrack, minus the traffic noise, could lend itself to a 70s hammer horror production. A gusty wind blew which added to the atmosphere, offering the squeaking door hinge effect. On entering some of the buildings the wind dropped to zero. Being alone, my minds eye was seeing the unseen.
Free parking.
Bathtime.
Rack em' up.
Storage tanks pikied.
Coal or coke elevator.
Perambulator showroom.
Note the date.
Sit up.
Pre yellow cone.
A canny afternoon out which brought memories back of adrenalin/fear, not felt since my teens/20s. After driving away from the site i was met by a convoy of transit van/caravan combinations. Wonder where they're headed?
