Cracking way to end the year of 2010. Started off not looking very promising in all due fairness, given that we were intending to do RG but bombing it due to potential security problems (we'll do it eventually, I'm sure). We thought about doing the brewery but given I'd seen a lot of it before already we followed the advice of DieHardLove and filled his request to find new locations! I don't care how epic it is but boy does it feel good to be the first in somewhere!
First one in, get in there! LOL (sorry that just slipped out 
)
I can't disclose the location due to potential google alerts and protection of the occupant's identity - he is one of a handful under a scheme where people can have a living space in the classrooms for a dirt cheap fee whilst keeping chavs and pikeys out in return by inhabiting it. At first he was reluctant to let us in but after a bit of talking he did. Lovely guy he was. As for what we saw, it's absolutely IMMACULATE given that they've got a fulltime caretaker living down the road checking up daily, but a lot of it is heavily stripped and bland as well as some of the rooms being left locked. To make up it's got a brilliant gym space and some excellent labs with some fantastic things left in situ. The Victorian buildings were totally inaccessible, and even if they were you'd be in for a hell of a time 'cause they've stripped everything including the floorboards for conversion. The main block's future is being toyed about with at the moment with rumours of recreational use.
Just a word of advice though, don't bother going in without permission 'cause you won't get anywhere with them inside, and there are PIRs on every floor, everywhere. They'll be onto you in seconds.
