Between 1940 (or 1944, depending on how you see it) and 1991, Estonia was occupied by the Soviet and brutally transformed into a Soviet republic - Estonian SSR.
A Kolkhoz was a collective farm in the former Soviet Union. The first collective farm started in the 1930th. kolkhoz means "collective households", but is usually translated as "collective farm".
Already in 1936, 90 percent of Soviet peasants worked in collective farms, and the system of collective farms were, of course, also in the former Estonia. The members of a collective farm called kolchosnik and got to pay a portion of the farm's total income by the number of days they worked.
Vague information says that this was a collective farm that canned fish, which may not be impossible because the factory is only 3 km from Estonia's largest lake, or it was the vegetables that were in place, see if I can figure out that over time ....
Build style is a little unusual. In the Baltic region, you can find very many collective farms, all built with white "Russian-brick" and a simple architecture, but here we found a well-built construction in red brick, with an interesting architecture.
