This report shows a series of interconnected buildings and warehouses located on one street in Sheffield. Although they were once a single large operation they have, in more recent times, been divided into separate units homing various businesses. These include Coin International (an arcade machine supplier), Bimarsh Stainless Engineering, Christmas Trees Next Day (!), Namsbury Engineering (Steel Fabricators) and, most recently, Eurofab. Originally these buildings, and the ones on the opposite side of the street that are still occupied, were all home to North British Steel Works.

Theres an archive photo of the street here: https://www.picturesheffield.com/imagefiles/jpgh_sheffield//s14916.jpg
These buildings are the ones on the right of the street.

Eurofab’s archived website states that:

‘With 28 year’s experience, Eurofab Sheffield has built a reputation as a specialist steel fabrication company. We provide fabrication, constructing and erecting services. Through years of consistent high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction we have worked with industry leaders in design and architecture to deliver on exciting projects... Our Skilled team are able to work on projects of all sizes and complexity – no matter how big or small.‘

So there. They have recently relocated elsewhere in Sheffield. Oh and there is also part of the connected building that was previously used as student flats, but I’d lost the will to live by that point.

Not the most pretty of the recent locations to come up in Sheffield recently, but it is a traditional Sheffield industrial derp and, to be honest, after 12 weeks of lockdown I’m happy to stretch my legs anywhere new.

Pics are mainly film, with just a couple of phone pics for close ups in the office. In no particular order...

Film shots are lovely man. Top report!
Some nice film shots there as per usual :thumb
Really nice set of shots!
Well researched and documented mate. Really suits the film treatment.
Nice that
loving the retro looking film shots, gives a good vibe :thumb

Thanks. I'm just annoyed that it appears my lens could have done with a a bit of a clean with the colour ones. There's always something to bug me. There's a bit more here to see but you get the gist. I didn't get a decent pic of any of the fruit machines either cos it was too dark and I was trying to avoid a big hole.

Nice I was here a while back, wondered if it had been done.
Looked like it was most recently used as a recycling plant to me?
Yeh that big hole nearly got me too!
