Report - Everton Road nursery houses (Liverpool, Dec, 2017)

A block of three interconnected Georgian townhouses (53.416435, -2.965463) used as nurseries for many years before closing in 1999. Since then there has been a fire on the top floor and rough sleepers have moved in, although none seem to be in residence at the moment. It was raining on and off when I visited and water was running down the walls in some places. Pictures go from the basement(s) up.

Awww your so tempting me to travel to Liverpool with these reports. Maybe next year, I may have to take a few more road trips. Strange craving in that stone, looks like a memorial or headstone in a wall. Odd. Shame the barracks is demo`d

Yes, the plaque did seem a bit grand for a nursery. The barracks is not demo'd BTW - its frontage is the house next door, and the former drill hall in the courtyard behind is used by a karate club.

If you mean the karate club, yes, still based in the old barracks drill hall AFAIK.
