I went to RAF Upwood yesterday and created this video from the footage and pictures which I got.
For others who are considering visiting: if you search for RAF Upwood on Google Earth it directs you to the middle of a field. Set your destination for 'Bury Cakes and Pies' and continue down that road until you see the site on your right hand side.

P.S. Bit of trivia: The pink wheels on one of the tanks (scarcely featured in my video but you can probably find images elsewhere) were painted by the guy who paints herons in Cambridge.
