Report - Failsworth Mill, Oldham, March 2014 .

Yep, thats right, another one thats been sitting hidden away in a lost hard drive, think its time to dust it off and stick it on here!
So id driven past this many times over the months before, being a bus driver at the time I always tended to keep my eyes peeled whilst driving around, it broke the boredom up!
I tried in vain to get some sort of history from the place back then, but looking at other reports at the time it seems that I wasnt the only one struggling with that.
I know that there was several businesses on the site, an atiques place on the ground floor and basements and above that some sort of tool manufacturers and on the top floor a firing range/gun club before things got a little cloudy and everyone left.
I really enjoyed this place, and the views were great from the roof, its just a shame that the local youth liked playing with fire and made a reet mess of it sealing its fate.

It was indeed dweeb a few months after my last visit I'd realised I'd missed a lot, so hastily returned only to find it had been completely swept away which for me was totally gutting.
Cannot believe you never got to see it tho, Yeh, plain engine house but it offered a lot more to look at.
And I've seen it before but man that's quite an impressive website, I wonder where that sign is now?

I couldn't believe it when I drove past the site to find it totally gone! I went in in March 2014 and was in awe of just how much great stuff there was in here.
