A short history:

William Henry Goss moved to the Falcon works around 1870, in 1873 he registered a patent for improvements of some items made of ceramics. Between 1902 and 1905 the Falcon Works were extended. The company stayed within the family until 1929 when it was taken over by Cauldon Potteries Ltd, The works changed names a couple of times and then closed in 1944.

For more history please visit www.thepotteries.org
The works is currently up for sale for housing development.

Your history is of the WH Goss Falcon Works in Stoke, this is JH Weatherby's Falcon Works.

Other than that, nicely captured. It's still worthy of a look in if in the area.

To be fair it is still a really interesting place.

I must put some snaps from 2007 up, what a place it was back then... so sad about the bottle oven.
