Fletcher's Paper Mill, Greenfield - February 2012
Visited with Bugsuperstar, fishbrain, Hiddenshadow, NickUK
After a night of many laughs in Manchester on eve of the meet, we thought it best to get out of the hustle-bustle and head toward the rolling, baron hills of the Pennines.
Tucked away, hidden in one of the many valleys, rests an expansive industrial playground forever locked in 2001 when the last workers abruptly left their final shift.
This guy has put in the time to research the history and I can't really do better than that. I'm sure one could spend hours in the drawing room reading up on the place if you so desired. If NickUK wasn't so cold and whiny I myself might have spent a little longer sifting through the damp, but well preserved, memories that remain.
Here are a few from this visit...
Apologies to Happyshopper for not making it back to Manchester sooner... we got side-tracked by an epic Fire Station at Horus' request and thus stuck in the Pennine snow
Thanks,
tweek
