I can’t find much history on the house however I found out who owned it. This large house was owned by Richard Noble. The house fell into disrepair in 2008 when he died at the age of 78. Richard Noble was an expert in British history and was passionate about music.

Me and my boyfriend decided to take a little mooch around this house one evening! Access is actually okay to this with public footpaths leading right to the front gate makes entry a dream! The overgrown state of the building makes access into the actual building difficult, yet a bit of actual looking and you are in. We bumped into a explorer leaving while we was going inside. We had a nice chat with him about the place and how he had been many times!

There is many mixed opinions on this house at the moment. I know it’s a popular location especially for the Facebook and Instagram explorers at the moment. Some people are saying it’s crap where as some are saying it’s a great location. Honestly in my opinion I think it’s a good location! It has some lovely interior features for example the gorgeous baby pink bathroom! I do like the grand wooden staircase with the red ripped curtains - the curtains interested me a lot! The kitchen is gorgeous! This house is covered in cobwebs and dust..... thank god it’s escaped graffiti. The house has been partially stripped out.

A bit of advice if your going here - do not bother going into the outbuildings.... unless you are willing to tackle a sea of brambles and nettles! ;)

Thankfully charterhouse has been catching people, think there's going to be a better watch on the place, it's inevitable then that it could get reboarded soon

Went here yesterday. There are 2 ways in. One way and you'll be very quickly caught by security in their black trucks :-)

The other way it's easy to get there, get in and look around.

Just so dark that I missed some of these great shots :-(
