Fort Edam is part of the fortifications around Amsterdam and was build around 1900 as the most north east fortification of the line. It is currently being developed into a tourist attraction with works being carried out by some racist builders and a group of retired custodians. It is not yet open to the public as an attraction so tours are currently not available. I had to be very stealthy and quick as their was quite a bit of activity on site, I really wanted to see the lower floor (underground) unfortunately the rain water has flooded it only a short distance in.
