This maternity hospital in Fife has supported woman giving birth since 1932. It officially opened on 23rd November 1935 and seen an extension open on 19th September 1977.

This was deemed surplus by the NHS and subsequently closed on 9th January 2012.

We didn’t venture into the old building as it seems to be unsafe, however, spend a few hours exploring a place that helped bring life to thousands.

Well I'll be damned haha. We managed to set them off a couple of years back and made a sharp exit ha.

They’re still there but can be avoided if you tread carefully. Not sure if it’s purposely for workers?

All ripped down now for fancy flats and houses. Park from the old doctors building its still standing

Watched some of the demolition whilst visiting my mother, they had fun and games with the big chimney.
