I wasnt sure about putting this on here as its getting abit repetitive,
but considering I was staying across the road it would of been rude not too. :D
I met at least 4 members & non members, (as expected) while visiting.
I cant remember your user names, but nice meeting you all.

Forum Cinema, Liverpool by stranton

Built during 1930 & opened on 16th May 1931 as the Forum cinema,
designed by Alfred ernest Shennan (exterior) & William R Glen (interior).
Became the ABC in 1971 & Cannon in 1986,
it was converted to 3 screens in 1982, although there wasnt much evidence of this.
The curved facade is made of portland stone,
the foyer is lined with marble & the auditorium has a proscenium arch seating 1835.
closed on 28th january 1998,
Currently in the process of being converted to an entertainment venue
the building is grade 2 listed.

I really like that. I know it has been done a lot, but I love the old style cinemas that prospered in the golden age, especially now that everything is on DVD, they just don't make them like that anymore. Definatley looks like a worthwhile mooch. Cheers for posting.

Well that"s a lot better than i actually expected from here with what you use mate, nicely done :thumb ..............You Fucking Tourist :Not Worthy;)

I think the Carlton was the better of the two Cinemas, why don"t you post a report on that one :D

covered it a bit better then me, I went on a bank holiday and nobody else was in there which put me off a bit considering the amount in there each day hahaha

To be fair to you mate, although the location has been repeated many times, you seem to have covered the lesser seen bits.
