Foxfield was the last colliery on my list which defenatly still had head gear standing. It was a poor end to my tour of the country's headgears, as they had been made into 'stabalised ruins', ie stripping off all the iron work and steps! The colliery was interesting, it is being used by a company that make gravel from glass bottles. The colliery has recieved lottery money and it's layout resembles a kind of museum, with colliery equipment dotted around.
