It was reported in August that a developer was about to purchase the site imminently. Not sure what happened. Remember this site back in the early 2000s - scientists in lab coats on the roof testing, tanks parked up Testing ther radar equipment and DERA would often launch their rib from inside the base (seafront gate) such an interesting place when it was a working test site !

What an eye sore it is now compared to a couple years ago! I went here a few months back for a revisit however within 10 minutes of being on site the Police had already arrived. We hid for 3 1/2 hours until we were able to make a swift exit. I wouldn't even bother trying.
