Building an OK rig for £500 is quite doable. My opinion would be very similar to others;
- find a game you want to play, look at the recommended specs and aim for that. Don't go for the minimum specs.
- Don't bother with integrated graphics. Some of the modern stuff isn't bad, but with the budget most of the other hardware is going to be fairly low level and I wouldn't expect this element to be any better.
- I would be going for 16gb RAM. Its a fairly cheap way of adding critical resource to your system.
- Don't fall for curry's marketing BS. That system you have put on the OP is pretty garbage.
- Consider buying a graphics card second hand.
It won't help for your budget, but look at the way overclockers market their PCs, and see what they prioritise. It should help steer your thinking.
