This had been about six months in the planning. Well not so much planning as pleading.
After a full security bag scan we made our way up. The first lifts go to the 34th... from there we do a jump lift, skipping the plant on 35-37. On 38 there is "private dining". On 39 the restaurant. Fancy a fry up for breakfast? 20 quid each. And so the prices spiral as the day goes on.
We were in the bar on the 40th. Whilst the beers weren't cheap, there's plenty of other places in London you'd pay more. Without the view. And what a view.
