apologies if this is a bit pic-heavy

Following our epic fail at Colindale back in June me, Amaris-Fionn and 2 friends set off for Cane Hill only to be foiled by a fire engine and firemen on site. Disheartened, we decided to cut our losses and have a poke around Hadleigh Garage - which on later investigation turned out to be an old Talbot/Peugeot parts dealership - which is visible to anybody travelling to Cane Hill by train as it is overlooked by the station. The first impressions of it weren't good - partly burnt-out with plenty of fly-tipping evident, but little did we know it turned out to be a gem.

The site is made up of the main garage section and two houses which are both trashed so we didn't even bother with them, and the biggest surprise of the lot, hidden in the trees in the exterior shot was a maze of corrugated iron rooms and sheds filled to the brim with thousands of new old stock car parts for Talbots, Peugeot and other Rootes-group cars. Access was about as easy as it gets but blatant, as far as we know nobody in the houses opposite saw us

Told you the exterior isn't very promising from the station side or the road side....

The first thought we had that it was more than just a trashed garage was when we saw this down the side of the house....
