Constructed in 1910 by a man named Arthur Burr's Goodnestone hammill brickworks was a large site consiting of several buildings including workshops,engine rooms and later during the war, horse stables.
Sold to Hammill brick Co in 1927, the site maintained good buisness unitll 2006 when money problems caused the site to become rundown, eventually causing closure in 2008.
Nice relaxed visit, dispite the berragments of birds and other wildlife coming at me from all angles in some buildings.
