I have made a number of trips to Harperbury asylum between September to December of 2012, there has been a lot of reports on this website of the asylum and a lot of talk on it. But the past few years or so it has become more damaged and ruined. This is down to the place being abandoned and down to the way people and weathering have treated it. There are 6 buildings that are in a horseshoe like shape, that seem to be next to some woodland and houses. In the centre of the asylum there is a football field that seems way out of place and out of character to the asylum itself. There is also a part of it that is still being used to this day, and has other buildings around it that are also abandoned. If you are interested in going to Harperbury asylum yourself, and have never been, postcode is WD7 9HQ. Find a sign, when you go there, that says no dogs, then walk down that road as there is back entrance to the place that will take you straight to the location.
