How many times have I been to Harperbury Hospital now I don't know, must be at least 10 or 11 times. Last few times I went I didn't even take any pics. It's just down the road from me so I often end up going if I'm bored or at a loose end. It's day of glory have long since past with all of the good bits now long gone, like the pool, the school and the padded cells. All that's left now are a few very, very knackered buildings arranged around a football pitch, consistent in their own state of fucked-ness. Anyway, this time I took a film camera as I thought the general air of desolation might well lend itself to this particular medium. Strangely, after all these years, it's still really stinks of bleach and antiseptic.
