Brief history: it was a coal power station opened in 1926, and decommissioned around the 1970s. Not much is left of the old power station, but the micklehurst line and the goods shed is still in premium condition!

I took lots of pictures, showing the remains of the goods shed, the overhead conveyor belt, a derelict bridge that the locomotives would go under, The entrance to the underground conveyor, the underground power culvert and a strange entrance into the underground. I’ll post pictures of what was underground when I go on Sunday
