Hastings College of Arts and Technology comprises of a 1970s six storey block (the main building) and also the Grade II listed terrace across the road which is made up of 5 Victorian houses (this was the art block). There are also a few other outbuildings. These buildings all became empty at the beginning of 2010 when Hastings College moved to a new site.
There are currently proposals to demolish the main building to build houses and flats and to convert the terrace into flats.

I visited with Catullus. We found that the art block was far more interesting and far less trashed than the main building!

That was the electronics departments technicans room. There were two blokes there Dave Inder and another guy called Richard (but affectionately known to everyone as Dick - the old fashioned nickname for Richards). I remember this place as if it was last week yet its been over 15 years since I was there.

I did contact Gemselect about saving some of the gear seen in this photo (and others in other threads and on derelectplaces) but the buggers decided not to bother getting back to me and when I made contact again they'd demolished the place.
