My first asylum
After all the talk recently about this place thought I’d take a look.
It is an enormous site!! Spent ages wandering about and being snap happy. Seeing the reports on here was helpful, as I knew what to look for. Shame it’s in such poor condition the pikies certainly have done there stuff. None the less is still an interesting place to see. Saw most of the main building, kitchen, main hall, dormitory’s, boiler room and corridors galore. The tunnels looked interesting, that’s for another day. Also looked at the building at the back with the conservatory don’t know what it was though.
Lots of evidence of police activity, shotgun shells and smoke grenades, etc.
Here are the photos, added a few exteriors as I haven’t seen many before and I want to try and show the scale of the place.
