I am an on and off explorer, I have my old posts on another site, as my profile expired on here.

I have a site near Braintree that I want to try, and wondered if anyone was up for it with me? So can PM for more deets.

I've done Sevs, Harperbury, Pontins in Norfolk, loads of MOD bunkers and WW2 stuff, Green Lodge Naturopathic near me, the factories in Manningtree etc etc.

I'll only do low risk sites now, but up for an exploring buddy that loves a good drive to find new places.

Argh ok I can't pm. There is a building on the main road from Braintree to Sible Hedingham where there are traffic lights just before Gosfield. It's under offer, but looks so good. Also have you tried towerlands? Can't decide if the houses just within the gate are occupied or not

The aerial photo shows an Orlit and what looks like a damaged access hatch....yes, it's 'just another ROC post' so not a 'WW2 bunker'.

As for the air raid shelters....the developer has appealed as their application to build a load of houses was not determined
The application cleverly avoided saying they would demolish the set of shelters and the fate of those should be seperate to the planning application.

you have some good eyes mate, just looked and even with the deepest squint i couldnt make much out! haha
