The School officially closed on the 7th of November last year to make way for the opening of the new School right next door which cost 18 million to build.
Access was incredibly easy if not a bit risky as we noticed the alarms were going off, looks as if people had been there all weekend doing the usual...
There wasnt anything left inside and was mostly a shell but the site it self is huge and did get lost on a few occasions.
Power was also for half the building.
The site is to be demolished to make way for a state of the art football pitch this year apparently.

History about the School

The school was originally built to amalgamate Hartlepool boys technical school and Brierton Hill Technical High School for girls in 1973 after changes in the British schools system.

Looks good that, shame more lights weren't on.

Weird seeing that card machine in the sixth photo - we had one in my school but never seen one anywhere else!

I missed a few things out as well because some of the doors we locked up and the alarms were screaming in my ear haha.

It's odd, this was my school not too long ago and I don't recognise pretty much any of the images, even the massive spaces I can't pinpoint where they are. I guess there's a lot more blocks that could be explored though, like the swimming pool block, reception and other parts of the building, hopefully someone will make it back before it's too late.
