Ok, so the previous post was of the disused platform that is still available for use if need be. Originally though, as at Aldwych there were two platforms for the Aldwych branch. This second platform was disused from about 1917. During the Second World War it housed offices. At some stage it has also housed scientists from Imperial College - there are remains of experiments scattered around. The whole area is known as "The Hostel".
Entering the platform area on the right are some full height room; on the left a double deck arrangement (as per some of the deep shelters). Further down the space opens out and eventually leads to a door out onto the track area where the crossover outside the station would have been.
Anyway onto the pics ....
Entrance
Start of the offices - very narrow corridor
More modern kit in one of the offices on the right hand side
The only remaining station name I could see
Toilets (Gents)
Few more to follow
