Another retrospective! Have visited this a few times over the last few years, and here are some photos from these trips, including a few underwater ones.

I've classed this as a permission visit as this is on private land - they are happy for people to explore, but a £5 donation is requested if you're parking/ diving and should be paid to maintain access for others. Part of the mine is now flooded, the water generally not exceeding 4-5m. It is however, very cold. Depending on when you visit, the water may be higher or lower, so wait for a drought period for most dry areas.

The mine opened in the 1770's and closed in 1960 as per other reports which cover the history in greater detail.

@WhoDaresWins is this where we went after sampling some Bakewells in Bakewell that one time?
