History
I'm not 100% sure of all the history on this place but the best I've come up with...
Horsforth college opened in 1972. It started as Airdale and Wharfdale college of Further education. It merged with Park Lane College in 1998, where it became the Park Lane College Leeds - Horsforth Centre. In 2009 Park Lane College merged with Leeds Thomas Danby and the Leeds College of Technology to form the new Leeds City College. The 3 main sites were then known as the Park Lane Campus, Horsforth Campus and the Keighley Campus.
The Horsforth Campus had facilities such as hairdressing salons and beauty therapy suites, a sports pitch, horticulture and conservation facilities including greenhouses and wind turbines. It also had an animal care centre and purpose built construction facilities.
The further education centre closed in 2017 and is now awaiting demolition for homes.

Wasn't quite sure how long I would have here as upon arrival noticed the security cabin at the front. However, surprisingly we got a good 2 hours mooching around. This was a Relatively good explore as there was plenty to see and look through, including exam papers from 1991! Brilliant view at night from the upper levels. Didn't get many good photos but here goes...
