Having problems creating a thread so I thought I’d update this post with our progress.
You’ll probably need to turn your brightness up to get the most from these videos.

We accessed the top levels a few years ago then after further research found access to the lower level.

Ah this is a blast from the past!! We used to play in there before it was collapsed - went in once and whilst we were in a bunch of radgies came in well behind and started throwing petrol bombs all over, we went and hid in a room then snuck out whilst they explored further inside, taking their camping stove/petrol bomb lighter with us

Looks like the old collapsed route is open again.

The sea being what it is and erosion quite bad at this point, it was only a matter of time before the cliff entrance was uncovered again. It is exactly how I remember it. Would love to try it again but as I’m now pushing 70 I have to be satisfied with the more mundane explores.

I thought we were going to die in there that day StevieG. Funny when we nicked their paraffin lamp though. Looking forward to getting back in there after reasoning that it is open again. Nick

The Cliff entrance is open again, several explorers have been down, last year and this. Including me. It has been well photographed and published on YouTube, under “Robert’s Battery”. The entrance all though open, is stillhard to locate until you are right on top of it.

I went down with one of my mates 3 weeks ago and the cliff entrance is open however I've heard that the council are planning on bricking it up this summer so i would definitely recommend having a look about before that happens ;there was some really good quality graffiti down there .
