Sandwiched between 4 waterways (the River Medlock, River Irwell, Hulme Locks Branch Canal and Bridgewater Canal), these arches support Manchester's Metrolink line at one of its widest points due to the dismantled railway that runs for around half a mile beside the live tracks.

There's also a narrower viaduct for trains in and out of Manchester - underneath this is a series of buildings which were used by Victorian workers of the Hulme Locks Branch Canal. Over a century later, they're looking a little neglected...

I was down here doing a model shoot around the same time! Sadly - it's all fenced off now.

Went here in the early 90s to MOT the chopper at Archway Motorcycles. Interarms was at the top on Regent Rd - now that place would have been worth a mooch
