...or, the last hurrah before our anti-hero descends into a barely pre-apocalyptic orgy of management, powerpoint, and ties in the country of absolutely no discernible abandoned anything (it's all been turned into lofts for German expats).
Crap, and all my cool Soviet kamera gear just arrived, too.
This particular trip was the result of the latest of D. and my habitual "let's go drive around a bunch of stuff and see if anything's worthwhile" failure-orgies. And yet, as we've proven time and time again, the best usually tend to be the ones that we just brazenly walk into past the security guards, fences, cops, construction workers, and teutonic lazer-tanks.
Okay, this one only had construction workers, but they were friendly and frankly, did not give a flying rat's ass about the morons laden with camera kit. Sometimes, particularly in Germany, the best defense is a good offense. Ask Poland.
This is a hospital.
It's not a particularly pretty hospital, although a number of local 1337 artistic types did their damndest to turn it into ZE EXPRESSION OF MODERN ART AND A COMMENTARY ON ZE SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT OF BOURGEOIS DECADENCE.
Yeah, I figured you're probably too young to find that as entertaining as it is.
No, seriously. It was an art gallery. There was more art than you could possibly shake a very artistic art stick at. And now they were gonna tear it down.
At least, I'm hoping all the leftover hospital-ebola left with the artists.
