Another one of my visits today...purely a site visit to tick another one off the list as there is absolutely nothing left of this post at all, as per Subbrit page :
Nuclear Monitoring Posts – Subterranea Britannica
Presumed access to post and also used by 'gang of stalwart Irishmen' (Nick Catford's words...not mine...presumably they were on Her Majesty's Service?!) who demolished the post. Subbrit gives no mention of what general era the post was demolished but I would expect it was soon after closure in '68.
Post was somewhere in the foreground here!
