I arrived at this one early because of the busy street its located on. When I arrived I waited around for the sun to set so I could begin taking pictures. Access what pretty simple although seemed to good to be true.

HISTORY

Located in Southall, Middlesex, in the west of Greater London. The King’s Hall was built in 1916 and was designed by architect Sir Alfred Gelder of Hull. The King’s Hall building has a 3-storey red brick and stone facade. It was operated by the Uxbridge and Southall Wesleyan Mission and it was soon screening religious films.

By 1926, it was operating as a regular cinema, still managed by the Methodist church.

The King’s Hall Cinema was closed in 1937. It then reverted back to a Methodist Church use as the King’s Hall Methodist Church. They vacated the building in January 2013"

The building does have a very large problem with pigeons and foxes living inside. So be careful because being a victim of a pigeons waste is not fun.

I attended Sunday School and cub scouts at Kings Hall as a child from 1956 to 1962. It had been an important part of my early life. I sat in many of the rooms shown and had run around the corridors. The main auditorium was magnificent. When I attended Sunday services with my father I liked to sit upstairs in the front row looking down on parishioners below. Your photos brought back many memories. I was desperately sad to see the decay of this once grand building. Thank you for the wonderful photos.

I’m new to the site and am fascinated by the discoveries people make. I lived near Southall so this was of interest. Great auditorium pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I wouldn't expect anyone to go into too much detail about that sort of thing publicly on this thread - just a heads up. This looks alright - for Southall!
Well I’ve seen a few posts where people were kind enough to let us know, it just helps to gauge if it’s worth me travelling the distance

I live only 30mins away and still haven't bothered, there's a youtube video of some getting caught by security, reboarding has happened a few times and being southall the place is packed 24/7, especially from the bus stop right opposite.
