KTA Ronse was a former nursing school located in, as the name might suggest, Ronse in Belgium. As far as buildings go it was a total wreck, it's wasn't somewhere you'd normally give a second glance at because it looked, quite literally, like a bomb had gone off in there. However the thing that made this place stand out and be so well documented amongst Euro explorers was that almost the entire building had been filled with murals and graffiti by the renowned Belgian street artist known simply as Pete - along with a couple of his friends.
It was basically an entire art gallery in a totally destroyed building, the only reason to go here was the graffiti and that's the only reason I found myself there, because it's so rare to see such a huge amount of high quality work in one small place.
At some point in late summer 2014 the building was demolished and I presume it's now shiny new housing or something.
That was just a tiny selection of the sheer quantity of the artwork in there, it really was mindblowing.
