One mans passion, a former agricultural engineer and landy enthusiast now aged and stricken with cancer he is unable to do anything with his collection. It just sits and rots away

Cracking collection, but sad too. This bone yard would give someone a lot of pleasure. Some great shots :thumb

verry nice. but its not west mids unless its next door neibour hack green secret bunker has moved
That's what I thought as soon as I saw the pics. I know this place well, although haven't been there for a number of years. Sad news to hear Mr Done is poorly with cancer - he's a lovely man and very approachable.

I saw in one of the pics a radar or radio trailer.. so much there and i bet some rare books such a shame to see them rotting away as i bet family will either just cut them up and scrap them or be sold for peanuts.... or trashed if and when he dies..

This site has featured in Practical Classics magazine in the 'Rust in Peace' photo section in the October 2019 edition. The reference books in the photographs and manuals are worth a fair amount each now to purchase, shame about the Landrover lightweights as again getting scarce now.

I hope anyone thinking of going here respects the fact that it's not actually abandoned, and is owned by a man dying of terminal cancer and his wife who both live on site and don't want people poking around uninvited.
Well said mate! This is posted public providing I didn’t disclose location and blanked out reg no’s.
