This place has just poped up on the radar and seen a lot of traffic so i thought i'd throw my hat in the ring. The place has been closed since 2007 and i cant see any reason why it has been left to fall in to disrepair. The whole building just doesnt feel right - it has a seedy nature to it? the fact that there are more bathrooms than bedrooms seemed odd and the place looks like it was set for entertainment as appose to pollotics. the last piece of info i could find was that 17 latvian mayors came over here and were entertained there with the mayor of chorley - apart from that details dont seem to exsist. The little self contained bedsit and evidence of a youngster just didnt sit right.maybe i'm wrong and will never know the truth but to me it seems like the place was used to entertain......;)

wonder what these guys saw down in the woods???

self portrait? or did he diplomats had a sense of humour?

Marble everywhere - more akin to a hotel lobby than a house. when this place was built it must have cost a pretty penny

curved staircases - obviously big in Latvia

classroom set up in garage - weird

looking out toward the bird house - in the lawn theres a small steel cross marking something - god only knows whats buried there.

Thanks for looking - hope you enjoy
