First site on mine and Flubbera's European trip.....
Turned out to be a fairly busy one this, we bumped into a group of three other photographers, about eight Airsofters and then a couple of kids turned up who started smashing something up and making a lot of noise from somewhere on site. Still an awesome building though, right up there with the top few most dangerous places I've ever been.
One half was composed almost entirely of wooden floors and is properly fucked, you can only make it up a few flights of stairs before the floors become truly impassable
The other half is mostly concrete however
More here Les Grands Moulins de Paris Mill
Thanks for looking, there's much more to come from our trip in the next few days when I finish sorting out 1200 photos....
"Les Grands Moulins de Paris" in Lille was a flour-mill, built in 1920 and closed in 1989. "Les Grands Moulins de Paris" is still spread all over France, but also in Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Libanon. Their activities follow the way of corn: from cultivation till finished products.
