Last time we went up about 3-4months ago - all nurses blocks gone, and the main house is pretty much destroyed inside - could still climb up inside and hop up onto the roof - but not really worth it now - not sure how much work's been done since then.

Probably about the same time, it probably is not worth going most things have been knocked down and its way under way for building, probably not worth the visit and you may be bumping into security or builders.

If you've been to any of the other 1930's colony-style asylums (Barrow, Plumstead, Prudhoe, Bangour etc) then its not worth going far for what's left here, as the clocktower is really the only thing to differentiate it.

I've done Leybourne a few times over the years, would be nice for my own collection to see what it's like now.

It's all gone now, only two things that remain are the Manor house which is covered in scaffolding and fences and all sorts of crap and the clocktower which is held up with metal struts. The rest is just lots of rubble.
