Kingston house in Liverpool is a drab and uninspiring building to look at, typical of the mid 60's era in which it was built. Formerly a residential building with a smaller women only health club attached (bizarrely enough) the building has sat patiently awaiting renovation for the past few years, something which those in charge of the cities modernisation have been pushing hard for.
The building is now due to be developed into a 10 - 12 storey building encompassing office, retail and leisure space. For a place that looks so unassuming from ground level it becomes apparent why this building has been fought over for development rights once you get out onto the roof and take in the view!

The lovely architecture of the former White Star Line offices
We accessed Kingston House rooftop just minutes after being on top of the previously mentioned White Star Line office building. After a horrible bit of climbing to get up there with high hopes of finding access (that's a no go by the way !) we had to retreat with only a couple of snaps from a less than optimum high point. It didnt help that i managed to snap a leg off my tripod which promptly skidded down the roof and onto the street 9 storeys below, but thats another story
Thanks for looking everyone, hope you enjoyed the snaps
