I'd forgot about this but as we drove past the end of the tunnel to head home we thought we'd try our chances and ask for a few pictures. With some bright yellow hard hats given to us, Torches strapped to the top of them myself, Rookie & OneByOne walked down the damp tunnel looking at the mass of cars inside. Near enough every picture was of the cars except 2/3 of the Terminus at one end.

The LOR was opened on the 4th February 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury and was 6 miles long stretching from Alexandra Dock to Herculaneum Dock. It was the first overhead electric powered railway and the Dingle Terminus was originally meant to be a run through station, It closed along with the rest of the LOR on the 30th December 1956.
