Visited the Lochmaddy ROC Post today. As per the Sub Brit report from 2003, the post is still intact, but locked.
I spoke to a local resident who said someone in the village has the keys, but he didn't know who... The Post is easily accessible from the main road into Lochmaddy ferry port, about 50 yards North East from the A865. It's in a field full of sheep - a quick scramble up behind a self-catering cottage.
Know some of the locals, so intend to do some digging around to find who has the keys, and may try and get underground on a future visit up here. On with the pics:
