London Road

The History

Struggling to find any history on these two houses.
These two detached houses are set back a short way from the road and whilst both are empty, it would appear one became so earlier than the other. There is quite alot of land around the properties. The most recent sales recorded for the buildings give them a combined value of almost £5 million.

The Explore

Walking up to the front gate not being able to get in, we walked around the side and saw an open hole in the side of the fence, we ventured into the first house climbing through a small window and made our way in, this one seemed to be vandalised more so than the other, nothing left inside whatsoever, a couple wooden boards to cover the doors and windows with the odd spider, moving onto the second house, the front door happened to be wide open, pianos, personal belongings, food and much more, the house was huge, very old and smelt old, from the items in the house and the radiators I can imagine this place being abandoned since the 1980’s, a lovely house, would have been beautiful years ago.

Some nice shots there. Shame about another piano rotting, but as has been said to bulky to move and no worth much. I just hate seeing instruments rot. Lovely tiles on that fireplace too. Very dated for 05. Good explore. :thumb

I would if I could, I realised the postcard after I uploaded, I’m not sure how to delete it..
There should be an edit button, failing that report the post to mods and they should be able to remove the picture and you can give them a blurred / redacted one to replace it.
